Our Junior Training Program

Coogee Beach Volleyball Association Juniors - volleyball training for kids 5-17 years

Stay fit, make new friends, develop new skills, and have fun. Join now and get started this season!

Our CBVA Junior Program is a social and competitive sports activity aimed at kids aged between 5 and 17, to support the next generation of beach volleyball players. Our professional coaches offer several training sessions a week, for all age groups, which are fun and inclusive of all our community members. We provide a service for the community to help kids be more active and have fun, while also offering pathways for juniors who wish to compete nationally.

Training classes generally run for 1 hour and align to the school term. Membership is annual and is valid from the 1st of April to the 31st of March the following year.

How to join via RevSport

RevSport is the online platform used for membership registration and booking term-based training classes

Junior membership fees are a combination of Volleyball NSW (VNSW) and Coogee Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) fees. Once you have registered as a member, you can then book into Junior training classes. These training classes align to the school term and are paid via RevSport.

What is the cost?

Membership Fees are approx. $110 annually

VNSW U18 Recreational membership is $40 (incl. GST) for training and participation in local tournaments, with the balance of $66 (incl. GST) allocated to CBVA.

VNSW U18 Full membership is $85 (incl. GST) for training and participation in local, state and national tournaments, with the balance of $27.50 (incl. GST) allocated to CBVA.

Membership commences each year on 1st April and expires on the 31st March the following year. Join at any time throughout the season, however please note that membership renewal is from 1st April regardless of when you joined.

Junior Training Classes are approx. $130 per term

CBVA training class fees are approximately $130 per term (excl. GST) and are booked on RevSport. Individual and casual training sessions are not available.

Active Kids Vouchers can be redeemed for the membership fee only, not CBVA training classes.

Why do I need a VNSW membership?
All registrations options require VNSW registration for insurance purposes. Annual memberships run from 1st April to 31st March the following year.

Easy two-step registration

STEP 1 – VNSW and CBVA Membership

Register (or renew membership) with Volleyball NSW as a U18 Recreational or Full Member

VNSW Membership Registration is made through the dedicated CBVA RevSport page.

Register via RevSport
VNSW membership will need to be upgraded to U18 Full membership to enter any state or national tournaments.

 

STEP 2 – Book your training sessions

Book and pay for the current school term training classes via our RevSport Classes Calendar.

Once registered with VNSW, login to the CBVA RevSport page, click “Classes” from the top navigation menu (or use the button below). Filter training sessions in the calendar by selecting the JUNIOR category, select the appropriate age session and pay.

We’re proud of our Juniors!

The Coogee Beach Volleyball Association junior beach volleyball players have had an amazing 2022/23 season. With record numbers of members, the program saw 137 juniors from ages 5 to 17, training and competing across a variety of tournaments. Their hard work and effort paid off, with 12 players representing the Coogee Beach Volleyball Association at the Australian Championships, making it an incredible season for the group.

Our dedicated coaches, Andrea Hutchinson, Jaka Murray, Roman Arkaev, Julius Chen, Arnaud Motreff and Marcos Molina are to be congratulated for their outstanding work this season.

  • Do I need to be a member of CBVA to play on the designated courts at Coogee?

    For JUNIORS: CBVA Membership is NOT required for Junior registration. Note: VNSW membership will need to be upgraded to U18 ‘FULL’ membership to enter any club tournaments.

    For ADULTS: Yes, CBVA Membership IS required for Adult registration.
