TRIAL AND SQUAD MAJOR UPDATEWe have an update for you regarding the squad trials for both men and women:Women – Trials are going ahead as originally planned this Sunday, August 17th at 11am to 12pm on Courts 4 and 5.Men: Following the rain last week, trials have been rescheduled to this Sunday following the women from 12pm to 1pm , also on Courts 4 and 5.If you are not able to attend, please let us know.Please bring a ball with you if you have one.Additionally, with the number of tournaments scheduled throughout September (see below), we have decided to make some changes to the training schedule to accommodate availability of players and participation at these events.The new training days and times are as follows:Women AAA – Sundays 10am – 12pmMen AAA – Sundays 12pm – 2pmWomen AA – Tuesdays 6:30am – 8:30amMen AA – Thursdays 6:30am – 8:30amTournament dates in September:Saturday 6 September – VNSW Kings & QueensSaturday/Sunday 20-21/9 September – Maroubra State TourSaturday/Sunday 27-28 September – NBVA #1The weather is looking favourable for Sunday, fingers crossed the forecast stays true and these can go ahead.__________________We are taking expressions of interest for Winter Adult Squads for the 2025/26 season. The purpose of these Adult Squads is to resume structured training in the off-season in the transition to summer, and is aimed at players looking to represent CBVA at State and National level tournaments throughout the season. We’re pleased to announce Martin Abuhadba will be facilitating all sessions for this winter program.Program details:Men & Women AA / AAA (4 in total)6 participants per squadProgram will run from 23rd of August to September 28th (6 weeks)Cost will be $180 (GST incl) per personPayment is expected in full and upfront. No refunds will be offered for change of mind or your personal unavailability.Classes will not be rescheduled if the class needs to be cancelled by the coach or CBVA.
